I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Don't tell anyone. Promise? Okay. Here goes...
I feed my kids McDonald's. {audible gasp}
Oh, it felt good to get that out. Want to know more?
I use TV as a babysitter while I take showers and make supper.
If my kids fall asleep without brushing their teeth, I don't wake them up. They're going to lose those teeth anyway, right?
I count playing Wii Music as our music theory lesson for the day.
I sometimes clean the bathroom floors with baby wipes as opposed to dragging a bucket of soapy water up the stairs.
I Febreezed my kids' VBS shirts one day last week so they could wear them again the next day without my having to do another load of laundry.
I sometimes skip rinsing cans and jars before putting them in the recycle bin.
By sometimes I mean almost always.
I sometimes say things like "don't act like a moron" to my kids.
I pretend not to hear questions that I don't want to answer.
If I forget my reusable grocery bags in the car, I just use plastic bags rather than go back for them.
I almost always forget my reusable grocery bags in the car.
I bribe my kids with candy--pretty much every day.
And I don't feel guilty (most of the time) because I am still a good mom (most of the time). Anyone else tired of all the pressure to be perfect? Well, spill it, Sister. Put it out there that you're not perfect but you ARE still pretty darn amazing.

I pretend not to hear questions I don't want to answer all the time....and I have never bought reusable bags because I KNOW I would never remember them....
LOL I love this post! (Though I don't think these things are all that secretive, at least not in my mommy circles.) In addition to doing almost all of your confessions I also:
-Consider Pb&J, Chicken Nuggets, Waffles (the frozen kind)and juice boxes the 4 basic food groups. Why else would they make multi-vitamins for kids?
-Use way more disposable diapers than cloth.
-Use the internet as an escape.
-Rarely fold & put away clothes before I use them again.
-Never can find matching socks.
-Tell my kids they can't go to the park because we don't have time, when really its because there are too many other kids there.
-Use baby wipes to clean the kids in place of baths most of the time because it's quicker.
-I have been known to let my oldest drink diet soda's.
-I may "forget" to set the timer for timeouts to see how long they'll keep themselves entertained.
-I give my 19mos a pacifier when he begs, because it's just easier.
I also still give him milk in a bottle at night. (Surely, he won't drink from it forever, so what will it hurt?)
-I tell my oldest I'm "filing" his paperwork from Kindergarten, when usually I just throw it all away.
-I bribe my oldest to watch after the young one's so I can get ready.
-I splurge on things because I have a coupon or gift card, but always forget to use them when I pay.
-I was relieved when my son said he didn't want to play soccer last year, because it was one less thing to worry about.
And so on... and so on...
You have a ton of Korean fans!! :)
I cannot tell you how much I love this! So true and I'm just glad you spilled it for me...now I don't have to! LOL! Thanks for sharing!
Oh...love your list! And can definitely relate.
Couple of mine:
-We have "snack night" twice a week for dinner
-My teenager owns songs on his iTunes account with explicit lyrics (yikes!)
-Even though I'm a school librarian by day, my teenage son doesn't like to read.
-I haven't walked my dog in weeks; I figure chasing squirrels in the backyard is enough exercise.
